Maison Thibierge has its roots in the craftsmanship of Emeric Thibierge since 1987. He invented his profession: paper designer, like fabric designers.
In 2002, he was asked by Jean-Louis Dumas, President of Hermès, to bring his expertise. Later he worked for Louis Vuitton Malletier, in charge of the creation of the stationery lines. More recently, he intervenes for the Saint Laurent Paris house.
His approach stands at the crossroads between design and technology; he draws his inspiration equally from fashion and nature, the world which surrounds him and his travels to Tokyo and New York. He never misses an architecture show, a photo exhibition at the Jeu de Paume, a retrospective at the Palais Galliera fashion museum or an event at the Paris Museum of Natural History.
Thibierge Paris paper is the first real writing paper created by Emeric Thibierge. It is made exclusively of linen fibres, thus reiterating the craftsmanship of beautiful papers in the 19th century: "pur fil" papers.
